ounded in memory of Rabbi Yeshaya’le ben Rabbi Moshe of Kerestir zy”a, Yeshua V’Chessed perpetuates the tzaddik’s sacred endeavors of gemilus chessed to the needy.  Unfortunately, the harsh economic situation in Eretz Yisrael needs no introduction.  Thousands of families in Israel suffer the throes of poverty, and their children go to sleep hungry at night.

Throughout the year, and specifically before the Yomim Tovim when expenses soar, Yeshua V’Chessed distributes thousands of baskets stocked with food and household staples including chicken, fish, rice and oil to needy families in Eretz Yisrael.  Prior to the Yomim Tovim, the organization also provides gift cards that can be used to purchase hundreds of shekels worth of food, clothing and shoes for the family.
